The Faculty of Law, University of Split is a public higher education institution within the University of Split. In the field of legal sciences, it offers an integrated undergraduate and graduate university study programme, a professional study programme, and postgraduate study programmes.
Founded in 1961, the Faculty brings together distinguished university professors, teaching staff, and legal practitioners who contribute to its teaching and research activities.
The Faculty's academic staff have received numerous awards and recognitions for their work and are active members of scientific associations and expert groups. In addition to benefiting from the extensive academic and research expertise of its faculty members, students have access to modern learning facilities, including a computer laboratory, state-of-the-art teaching equipment, and a well-stocked library with a modern reading room.
The Faculty publishes the Collected Papers of the Faculty of Law, University of Split, an internationally peer-reviewed scientific journal. It also conducts ten research projects funded by the Ministry of Science, Education and Sports. To strengthen research, professional, teaching, and expert activities, as well as to foster collaboration with legal practice, the Faculty operates five specialized centres, with an additional centre currently in development.
