The fundamental objectives of the Association are:
- establishing and maintaining connections between the Faculty of Law in Split and members of the Association, and building mutual cooperation and relationships,
- collecting feedback from members regarding their satisfaction with acquired knowledge and skills, current labour market needs related to legal professions, and involving the Association in the internal quality assurance system of the Faculty of Law in Split,
- preserving the tradition and promoting the reputation of the Faculty in the Republic of Croatia and abroad,
- developing cooperation between the Faculty of Law in Split and business entities or organisations in which members of the Association are active,
- networking and exchanging experiences among members of the Association,
- encouraging and improving professional, scientific, practical and general social activities of members of the Association,
- encouraging cooperation between members of the Association and the Faculty of Law in Split through the involvement of members in various projects,
- participating in international scientific and professional exchanges and establishing contacts with related associations in Croatia and abroad,
- encouraging members to pursue lifelong education and professional development, improving and promoting the work of legal professionals, and strengthening awareness of the role of lawyers in society,
- improving activities and promoting the Faculty of Law as a socially responsible institution,
- protecting the professional interests of legal professionals in society.
In accordance with its objectives, the Association operates in the fields of human rights, education, science, research, international cooperation and sustainable development.
The activities of the Association include:
- organising roundtable discussions on topics of interest,
- encouraging the organisation of conferences, forums, workshops and lectures for members of the Association,
- organising and implementing various programmes and projects in the field of law and interdisciplinary related fields,
- cooperation with other alumni associations and professional associations in Croatia and abroad,
- cooperation with the Faculty of Law in Split in the field of improving teaching, conducting scientific and professional research and projects,
- providing information to prospective and current students regarding studies at the Faculty of Law in Split and employment opportunities after completing their studies,
- cooperation with student organisations of the Faculty of Law in Split,
- monitoring and encouraging the further development of the best students of the Faculty of Law in Split,
- informing about the activities of the Association and the Faculty of Law in Split, as well as activities related to the personal and professional development of members,
- publishing scientific and professional publications,
- publishing the Association newsletter,
- promoting and popularising legal science and the legal profession,
- organising gatherings of Association members,
- organising study trips for Association members,
- humanitarian activities,
- establishing foundations and providing scholarships for students,
- development cooperation – education, other development cooperation activities, and activities in the field of international cooperation,
- other activities in the fields of education, science, research and other areas of interest.
