Application deadline for participation in the Straniak Academy for Democracy and Human Rights 2018 in Saranda, Albania, pushed to 10th July !
The Straniak Academy for Democracy and Human Rights is a two week summer school, which is organised by the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute of Human Rights – Research Association (BIM-FV), Vienna/Austria, since 2013. The aim of the Academy is to promote academic education in the fields of democracy, human rights and the rule of law by connecting the main theoretical concepts with practical experience of experts by using an interdisciplinary and interactive format.
The Academy is open to students and new graduates with different academic backgrounds (law, political science, sociology, international development and other) coming from the Western Balkan region (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia) as well as from EU Member States and other European regions, who are specially interested and eager to acquire additional knowledge and excellence in the above mentioned fields.
